DLCs to be unlocked?

Installation:

1. Unpack the save files that you download to …\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Data, All done, no more manipulation.
2. Find and download the DLC
3. Throw DLC folders in …/Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Data
4. Go to …\RimWorld\Data\[Royalty/Ideology/Biotech]\About\.
5. Open “about.xml” with notepad.
6. Remove the line “<steamAppId>DIGITS</steamAppId>”. Save. (This must be done in the “about.xml” files in the Royalty and Ideology and Biotech folder)
7. Finished

Is RimWorld worth without DLC?

Yes, absolutely. It’s better WITH them, but still quite enjoyable without them.
